Most recent update

Amanda wanted this news passed along: Reid had an X-ray and an echocardiogram done today. Nothing has come up yet as far as a concern. They were checking for lung development and to see if there were any heart defects. They will do an encephalogram next week to check for any brain damage or hemorrhages that may have occurred when the cord was wrapped around his neck at delivery. They have also started putting nutrition through his IV now. Before this he was just getting sugar water. That is the news for the time being. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, I know they appreciate it.

  1. We're still praying!

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah

  2. tlThanks, Nichole for keeping us updated. I've finally figured out all the details. At first I didn't see that there was an earlier blog than "nephew status". Derrell thought that Reid was born on Thrusday and we were both pretty confused. Now I've read all the blogs and have a better picture. I'm glad to hear that Reid is doing so well. We'll keep praying.

  3. Thank you for sharing...we are praying.

"For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah 41:13

"Do you now know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

You will be in our prayers!
