One thing I do know

I don't know about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray
I don't worry o'er the future
For I know what Jesus said
And today I'll walk beside Him
For He knows what is ahead
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand
I don't know about tomorrow
It may bring me poverty
But the one who feeds the sparrow
Is the one who stands by me
And the path that be my portion
May be through the flame or flood
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood

I have been singing this song over and over, whether out loud or in my head for the last few days. Whenever I here something about the economy or the election or anything else that's troubling these days, I just start singing this song. It's just gets me back to what really matters in life and the fact that God really does have it all under control. I find the days more worrisome now that I have children. And I need to remind myself of the fact that God has their future in His hands, too. This is one of my favorite songs, even when I was younger. Because if you know me at all, you know I am a huge worrier (I was concerned about the ozone before it was popular to be concerned about the ozone : ) I don't know about tomorrow, but I know who holds my hand. Thank you, Jesus! : )
