Suite weekend

4 hotel suites, 13 Suvar's, 2 full days, and 1 luxury baseball suite add up to a fun, exhausting weekend with family.  Paul's mom has had it on her bucket list to take the whole family to a Cincinnati Red's game, and watch it all from a Box Suite.  As a Father's Day gift/ family getaway rolled together we headed down to Cincinnati on Friday afternoon.  Paul's mom set us up in hotel suites - one for each of the families.

Our suite had a room with 2 queen beds, a kitchen, a living room with a convertible sleeper sofa, another bedroom with a King size bed, oh, and two bathrooms.  I think the whole thing was as big as our apartment.

Seriously.

We spent the weekend eating tons of food, visiting the Creation museum, swimming in the hotel pool, staying up late playing games, and, the crown of the whole weekend.....

experiencing a Major League baseball game from the primo seats.

Thanks George and Becky for a once in a lifetime experience!

Precious memories were made for sure!

Hanging out in one of the hotel suites.  It was big enough that all 13 of us fit into it quite comfortably.

Seriously, she did not even balk when the guy handed her the snake.  And Maddie doesn't seem to have much of a problem with the creature being 12 inches from her face, either!

Let the Diamond Club experience begin!  We had reserved parking, walked 30 feet to the entrance, rode an elevator directly to our floor, and walked a few more feet to our Suite.
Loved getting the reactions of everyone as we all filed into the room.  We were all speechless.
 Quite the view

Oh, and did I mention the HUGE buffet of food that we had throughout the game?
Our own private box of seats with an excellent view.  When we got too hot (it was over 90 degrees outside) we could just go back into our air-conditioned suite.  Craziness.

The boys.
Sadly, the Red's didn't win, but it was still a good show, and an awesome experience all around.
